The Second Iron Throne Has Been Found, Two New Thrones Hidden

The second life-sized Iron Throne from Game of Thrones has been found. Hidden away in a northern icy tundra, a pair of friends have successfully claimed their prize. To continue on its current campaign, and as a lead up to Game of Throne‘s eighth and final season, HBO has been hiding these life-sized thrones in all sorts of secret places, waiting for lucky fans to find them. After the second throne was found, HBO has now gone on and hidden two more.

Firstly, the “Throne of Joy,” can be seen hidden on a hill while a castle can be seen in the background. This looks to be the same spot where episode three of season six was shot where a young Ned Stark is trying to protect his younger sister, Lyanna Stark. If this is the case, the new throne is located at the Castle of Atienza near Madrid.

In a video posted to HBO’s official YouTube channel, the first Iron Throne can be seen hidden in what looks to be a forest with the caption “#ThroneoftheForest.” The 360-degree video is also accompanied by a countdown timer, allowing fans to see how much time they have left to claim it. The network has also shared a marketing video starring the show’s biggest actors to its Facebook page along with, “6 Thrones. 6 Locations. Who will be the first to find them?” Once the first Iron Throne has been successfully found, HBO will hide another one, totalling up to six.
