What will Luffy’s last major power up be?

At this point in the story, I think it’s clear that there are no more mystery power ups left (like Gear 5). In my opinion, Luffy has 3 major power ups left: Advanced CoA, Advanced CoC, and Awakening. After Luffy gained Advanced CoO (Future Sight) and a minor strength boost, he was able to beat Kata and became low top tier. After Luffy gains Advanced CoA (penetration Haki) along with the minor strength boost from Udon, he will be mid top tier. Then, either Advanced CoC or Awakening will make him high top tier, and whichever one is left will make him pirate king level. So which one do you see Oda saving for last?

On one hand, Advanced CoC is special since it should be the most rare and powerful type of Haki, but on the other hand, Luffy’s devil fruit has been a bigger part of his fighting style throughout the series than Haki has and it would be more fitting for Luffy fully mastering his devil fruit to be the final obstacle before reaching Pirate King level. Maybe be able to handle the voice of all things properly? It could not be related to combat but since that is his "very special" perk it may be his final gain in order to enter Raftel or something like that. On the other hand things like awakening and CoC and for sure special but we have plebs like Doffy, Chinjao, Kidd, Impel down guards etc who have it, while voat is something only him, Roger and a kid and his late father have along with some 3 eye tribe dudes probably.

 

Luffy Awakens His New Power Against Emperor Big Mom!

So Luffy is ready to use his new power against Big Mom. Will Luffy surpass the Yonko Big Mom?
Immediately after slamming Queen’s head into the ground, Big Mom defeats him by throwing him into the wall, and this knocks Kid and Killer out of the water and damages Kawamatsu’s cell door.

Big Mom then finds the o-shiruko container only to see that it is empty, and Luffy inadvertently reveals that he ate it, causing her to attack him and Hyogoro in a fit of rage. Big Mom forces the two of them out of the ring, but in the heat of the moment, Luffy successfully manages to rip off their collars. Luffy concentrated his haki to tear off the collars in the same way Rayleigh did with Camie in the Auction House in Sabaody! Luffy immediately sets off to escape, but Hyo stops him. Saying that Luffy could only progress his power when backed into a corner, he tells the pirate to protect him from Big Mom, putting his life at stake in Luffy’s training to advance his Haki. As Luffy stands in front of Big Mom we can see that both of his hands emit steam, just like Hyo’s arm emits steam before hitting Alpacaman.

Captain Kid’s Awakening in Wanokuni

I’ve a feeling Eustass Kidd and Monkey D, Luffy will awaken in Wano Kuri Arc. We know Kid is Magneto who knows to use his power it just to a certain point. His devil fruit power manifests in two different abilities, both depicting repulsion and attraction of metals within his vicinity to be used as weapons.

The first allows him to repel metallic objects away from himself, such as reflecting a Marine cannonball back towards its shooter. The second ability allows him to draw metallic objects towards him and form them into objects, his most frequent use of this being to form a giant arm made of hundreds of metallic weapons and objects and connecting it to his right hand. Think of him awakening this power in Wano, where anywhere we look are factories making weapons of steel, iron, you know what I’m talking about.

I can see Kid awakening as a mini magnetar. What is a magnetar? That’s the strongest magnet in the freaking universe. Having it in the upper atmosphere or beyond will start electric storm across the globe and gravity will be messed up. What I’m saying is, Kid’s Awakening will be really overpowered. Also known by Marvel fans, Eric or Magneto can extract the iron from blood and minerals in the ground as shown in X Men Apocalypse. I can just imagine the scene of him levitating and guns, beams, bars, spears everything levitating with dark clouds and thunder.
