One Piece Chapter 1093 Recap

In manga chapter 1093, we delve deeper into the ongoing battle between Luffy and Kizaru. In addition to this clash, we receive updates on the whereabouts and activities of the other Straw Hat members and their allies. Vegapunk, Sanji, and Atlas are en route to a different zone with the intention of altering the Pacifista's directives to provide assistance to Bonney.

Chapter begins with Kuma reaching Mary Geoise. Some guards appear to stop him, but Kuma uses "Ursus Shock" to wipe them out. Some Tenryuubito are injured too.

Akainu appears to confront him.

Akainu: "What are you doing here, Kuma!?"

Akainu thinks to himself what would make a doll with no consciousness like Kuma in the "Holy Land". Akainu fights against Kuma. Akainu melts part of Kuma's face (and I think one of Kuma's leg too, but not 100% sure) with "Meigou" (Hellhound) the same attack he used against Whitebeard. Kuma doesn't defend, he just run and then disappears.

Some Tenryuubito are shouting at Akainu for failing to capture Kuma. It seems Mary Geoise's food reserves are at a minimum too.

We see a little flashback that takes place after Akainu captured Bonney 2 years ago (the continuation of the scene from chapter 595). Akainu told Bonney that her dad willingly underwent his modifications.

Back to the present, cut to Egghead Island. Kizaru Vs. Luffy Snakeman, they fight during several panels of the chapter.

Kizaru has light on both of his hands and blocks all Luffy's attacks with his arms (it seems both are using Color of Arms Haki). They don't use any new attacks.

Kizaru: "You're very tough to fight, as expected of a man who defeated Kaidou!!"

Kizaru flies very far away from Egghead Island to charge his next attack.

Kizaru: "Speed is power!!" Then Kizaru flies back to Egghead and kicks Luffy Snakeman with full force. Luffy is blown through "Vegaforce-01", destroying the robot completely (Franky is still at the robot). We can see 2 flashback panels of Vegapunk showing "Vegaforce-01" to Kizaru.

Thousand Sunny is OK because it lands on "island clouds". Bonney attacks Kizaru.

Kizaru: "You've grown so much...Don't force me to hurt too many people I know during this mission!!"

Bonney is kicked by Kizaru and she hits Egghead's barrier.

Kizaru warps to the middle of the "Control Room" in the "Labo Phase", right next to Vegapunk. In the last double page of the chapter, giant Luffy Gear 5 appears above them ("Control Room" ceiling was already destroyed) and grabs Kizaru with his giant hand. Vegapunk, Nami, Usopp, Atlas and Edison are shocked and their eyeballs pop out of their faces (Kizaru has a normal face).

At the end of the chapter, the Ancient Robot's eyes power up after hearing Nika's heartbeat...

Although all the action in the Wano arc wrapped up once Luffy defeated Kaido, it appears that fans could well be in for some more as Green Bull intends to take the head of the Straw Hat Pirate captain, Luffy. Towards the end of the chapter, fans saw him quite close to the capital itself and it looks like he will make his way to the banquet in One Piece 1054. Being an Admiral, it's quite clear that Green Bull will be incredibly difficult to take down for anyone, even Luffy, as he is extremely injured after his fight against Kaido. That said, the sheer number of allies that Luffy has in the capital seems to be more than enough to subdue an Admiral of the Navy. This suggests that One Piece 1054 might see the Admiral take another route in the country. While he does intend to take Luffy's head, it could be that they strike some sort of mutually beneficial agreement. In case Green Bull does attempt to take on Luffy by himself, it goes without saying that it won't end well for him, especially if Luffy has recovered. In that case, One Piece chapter 1054 will also see the likes of Kid, Law, Killer, Yamato, Zoro, and Sanji join forces to easily deal with the Admiral. Furthermore, it is quite unlikely for Oda to start a major battle in a post-war arc, which is usually laden with information instead of massive fights. As such, a full-on confrontation between the Admiral and the Straw Hat Pirates and the alliance looks rather unlikely. Quite possibly the most important part of One Piece 1054 could be the Ancient Weapon, Pluton. Mention first during the Arabasta arc, Pluton is known to be a giant warship one shot of which is capable of vaporizing an entire island. Its power is known to be such that it can destroy the entire world. Crocodile, one of the former Shichibukai, was known to be looking for it, however, Nico Robin never disclosed its location to him after reading about it on the Poneglyph in the tomb of the country. One Piece 1053 finally revealed to the fans that the Poneglyph pointed to the Pluton being in Wano, something that Tsukiyaki concurred with. This adds new meaning to why the borders of Wano were closed for so long. The Pluton is, after all, an incredibly powerful weapon that the Kozuki Clan would not have wanted to fall into the hands of the World Government. With Tsukiyaki knowing about its location, it's possible that fans could very well get to see this Ancient Weapon in One Piece 1054. While Pluton has been explicitly called to be a warship, it ending up being a human would be a cool twist from the author. Aside from the Pluton, Nico Robin also has some other information to read about. The Straw Hat Pirates are currently in possession of six different Poneglyphs, two of which are Road Poneglyphs. As such, all this information needs to be delivered to the fans slowly and the next chapter of the series might be the start of that. Catch the Red Hair Pirates with an Updated Design in ‘One Piece Film Red’

One Piece Film Red has become the hottest topic in the anime world now. Ever since they revealed the protagonist Uta and her story, fans have been going crazy with all the theories. 

But everyone knows how Oda works, and there’s no way we’ll ever know what’s about to happen in the story. This makes all theories pointless, and all that’s left to be excited about are the teasers and visuals. 

One Piece Film Red’s latest promotional video teases new character designs for the Red Hair Pirates. The movie is set to release on 6 August, 2022. 

All of the characters are shown in a roughly drawn manga-style animation. The first one is, as expected, their chief and Uta’s father, Shanks, styling his usual shirt, funky-patterned pants, and a badass cape with his sword.  

Next is Benn Beckman with his rifle, Lucky Roux, Yasopp, Limejuice with his cool sunglasses, Bonk Punch, Monster, Building Snake, Hongo, Howling Gab, and Rockstar. I gotta give it to Oda for providing all One Piece characters with such quirky and distinctive names. 

Red Hair Pirates are the main reason Luffy got his rubber-like powers and formed the Straw Hats. Luffy’s motivation to be the Pirate King comes from Shanks constantly underestimating his abilities until Luffy gets angry enough to make such a statement. 

Instead of ridiculing him, Shanks is reminded of his old capital Gol D. Roger and how he had the same ambition and dreams as Luffy. 

Let’s not forget that the movie is not just about the pirates this time, but also the famous diva, Uta. Being Shanks’ daughter, her existence raises many questions that will be answered in the film. 

Moreover, the recent tease trailer also claims that Luffy and Uta have known each other since childhood! I can’t wait to see what this is all about, and I know that, like every time, we’re in for a surprise.

One Punch Man Chapter 165: Release Date, Raw Scans Out, Spoilers, Leaks, Where to read online

The One Punch Man manga by ONE and Yusuke Murata is published in Shueisha’s Tonori no Young Magazine which is released on weekly basis every Saturday. However, the OPM manga has a very unusual release schedule and the author is allowed to publish the chapter whenever he wishes. In most cases, the new chapters are released on the first Saturday of the month or the last Saturday of the month. Since the previous ch i.e. ch 164 was published on 14th May, the One Punch Man Chapter 165 will either release on Saturday, May 28th, 2022, or on Saturday, June 4th, 2022, at 12:00 AM (JST). The chapter title has not been announced yet.

However do note that it will take some time before the English translations will come out as the whole translation process involves manga invisible complex steps such as redrawing, typesetting, proofreading, and of course translating the text.

‘Made in Abyss’ Season 2 Confirms July Premiere With a Chilling New Teaser

Made in Abyss is the definition of “don’t judge a book by its cover.” Don’t let the cute characters fool you because it’s basically Attack on Titan’s level of pain but in chibi format.

So, don’t expect season 2 to get any better either. The recent trailers don’t even put up an illusion of a cheerful story, so be prepared to see more suffering, pain, and death.

Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun, the second season of the anime is set to premiere on July 6, 2022.

Just like its predecessors, the latest trailer doesn’t pull any punches and is filled with the horror that’s all too familiar to the anime’s fans.

 

The trailer begins with the Ganja finally finding new land for themselves, the Golden City. It clearly states that no one can get out of the city, but they still decide to settle there. (Did no one ask why people couldn’t get out of the place?)

Unsurprisingly, disasters ensued one after another. On top of all the mess, a new character, Faputa, is also introduced. Although she looks like a lost child, she is actually the princess of the Narehate.

Season 2 of Made in Abyss will adapt the Ilblu Arc since the Dawn of the Deep Soul movie adapted the preceding Ido Front Arc.

As you might have already guessed, the Golden City will not treat the Ganja any better than their past habitat, if not worse. Can Vueko really save everyone? What exactly did Wazukyan feed the Ganja members? Believe me, it’s better if you didn’t know.

Dr. Stone Illustrator to Release Special One Piece Zoro One-Shot for Manga's 22nd Anniversary

This year's 33rd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Saturday that artist Boichi (Dr. Stone, Origin, Sun-Ken Rock) will draw a one-chapter official spinoff manga for Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga. The one-shot is titled "Roronoa Zoro: Umi ni Chiru" (Fall Into the Ocean), and the manga will focus on a fight between Zoro and Mihawk. Shueisha will publish the manga in the magazine's 34th issue on July 22.

The chapter will have 46 pages and will also feature a center color page. The one-shot is celebrating the manga's 22nd anniversary, which will also be on July 22. The magazine also teased that the 34th issue will feature the "latest information" about the live-action Hollywood television series adaptation of the manga, as well as other projects for the manga's 22nd anniversary. The live-action adaptation was announced on the manga's 20th anniversary in July 2017. Oda began serializing the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump on July 19, 1997 (although the issue was dated with July 22), and Shueisha published the manga's 93rd volume on July 4.

Yakusoku no Neverland/The Promised Neverland - Chapter 133 Review

Emma and Ray have entered the Door that was supposed to lead them towards the Seven Walls but instead of finding they ended up at Grace Field House with no means to return since the Door disappeared and their minds going wild over the image in front of their eyes the 2 Friends make their way inside the House in which they spent most of their Childhood in once more. Emma is in shock after they enter their old home as everything looks exactly the same as always,Ray wonders if it really is the same Grace Field House and not just an illusion but he quickly realizes that something is different...There is no noise in the entire House...is it empty? Suddenly they hear a scream from upstairs,reminiscent of these moments when you enter a haunted house in a movie and the first murder is about to unfold. Or at least that's how i felt seeing it...

But before the 2 can go up the stairs a black ball falls down the stairs,rolling before their feet...AS IF! The Ball is soon to be revealed as an eye ball,inviting the Friends to play with him. Out of shock Emma makes a step backwards,suddenly a door appears below her feet opening resulting in her falling downwards. This all happens so quickly that our Ray cannot even hope to grab her in time,as he tries to jump after her the door vanishes into nothing and he suddenly hears Emma scream from upstairs. He quickly makes his way up,calling out to his Friend but to no avail as the entire house seems to be changing,suddenly Ray who is completely in shock hears his name being called out...as if what he's been seeing so far hasn't been crazy enough he gazes upon Isabella,his very Mother. She welcomes him home and walks towards him to give a hug,she tells him how much he's grown.

But Ray isn't dumb,he frees himself and asks Isabella and the other kids around her who they really are but he is met by only one response: "Come and play,Ray." over and over. If that wasn't enough he suddenly finds himself shrunk down,he is roughly the size of Phil now,meanwhile Isabella and the kids show their "real" faces as their skin and eyes melt to reveal their skeletons. They start chasing Ray who is running for his Life while looking for Emma,who is currently inside what i'd like to call a hell of Doors. She keeps running and entering different doors but she ultimately always ends up in the same hallway,she reminds herself that she and Ray need to stay together. She aims her rifle at a random Door and shoots through it,the sounds of her shots are noticed by Ray who runs into her direction while she kicks the door down. She ends up in the same staircase as Ray.

Just as the Friends reunite they literally lose any and all ground below their feet,Emma now too encounters the Skeletons and living toys and is left in utter shock as she and Ray fall towards the ground. As they made their landing Emma wonders how Ray became so small,they have a brief comedic exchange with Emma being turned into her smaller self as well for a moment until both return to their Original size. As Ray wonders what exactly is happening in this House the toys start to surround them again,continuing to ask for them to play along. Emma seems to recognize the voice of the toys to be the one of who she met before on her own,She tells the Supreme being that she has followed his wishes and entered the entrance but she also declares what she came for which is to forge a new Promise but for her to do so she needs to know where the Demon God is in this moment.

He responds that he is where he always has been,Beyond the Seven Walls,the Seven Walls are hidden inside the House. The Game he wants to play is "Hide and Seek" and he wants the 2 Friends to come and find him,as he declares the start of the game an entrance by their feet reminiscent of the shelter's entrance opens and inside we can see a ladder leading down and a couple of canned goods and preserved vegetables and fruits which again reminds us of the shelter and its reserves of Food when they first entered it.

This Chapter was good,but felt overall short to me. 7.5/10. We didn't get much other than the Demon Lord messing with Emma and Ray's minds and hearts,by showing and turning their actual fond memories of Grace Field into a trip through a haunted house with actual Monsters and grotesque displays from another World. His nature might be a problem for when they reach him and actually get to forge a new promise,he may be too playful to just let them have what they want. I honestly predict that one of the 2 will have to die for this Promise to be realized as a sacrifice or something for Peace between the races,the fact that the Premium "goods" are to be reserved for this Demon God have me iffy. He invites Emma and Ray,who are both food for him into his base of operations just like that? I wonder really,but we'll see. I'm looking forward to it and when the time comes i'll be breaking this down again for you all,Until next time everybody!

Why Aokiji joined Blackbeard – Akainu’s Plan

What are Akainu and Aokiji up to? This question has plagued me since the end of the Punk Hazard arc and it got worse when it was revealed that Kuzan was joining the Blackbeard Pirates during the Dressrosa arc and later confirmed that he has actually joined the Blackbeard Pirates at the end of the Dressrosa arc. Akainu and Aokiji have opposite ideologies on where the line between right and wrong lies but they are both Marines to the core and everything they do is in the interest of Justice. Now that being said, I have come to the conclusion that Aokiji is working undercover as a disgruntled former Admiral and his handler is none other than Akainu himself. And they came up with this arrangement during their battle on Punk Hazard. Now Aokiji’s first mission was the infiltration of the Underworld to gather information on several key players in the New World. This explains his arrival at Punk Hazard as up till that point the events of Punk Hazard were only known to those who are involved in the Underworld. Now while there he tells Smoker to quickly inform Akainu and have him react swiftly to avoid a worst case scenario that would be beyond the capabilities of even the Marines.

Now at this point Aokiji is clearly sharing intel with the Marines, which is what you’d expect an undercover Marine to do. His next mission is the infiltration of the Blackbeard Pirates( which is now in progress). Now Blackbeard caused quite a storm at Marineford and went from obscurity to becoming a Yonko in a very short time deceiving and manipulating both the World Government and Whitebeard. And in addition to that, he is the only person to have multiple Devil Fruits, wielding the most powerful Paramecia and Logia respectively. It doesn’t make sense for Aokiji to join the Blackbeard Pirates since in addition to being pirates their ideals are a complete antithesis to his. Now the reason for his infiltration might be to gather information on their movements, powers, allies, territory and quite possibly the secret behind Blackbeard’s multiple devil fruits and how they are stealing devil fruits as well as how they can be taken down. To further support the possibility of Aokiji being undercover. When the Gorosei bring up the issue of Aokiji joining Blackbeard to Akainu he quickly dismisses it as though it’s nothing important, now this is a former Admiral joining a troublesome Yonko’s crew and Akainu acts like it’s no big deal. The reason behind his attitude when the Gorosei bring this up is because he is protecting Aokiji and also doesn’t want the Gorosei to know he is undercover. Those are my thoughts on Akainu and Aokiji. Please let me know what you think.

Red Hair Pirates and Blackbeard Pirates are much stronger than Beast Pirates and Big Mom Pirates

I’ll try to keep it short and simple. So we know that the Big Mom’s crew is in shambles right now and was so even before the Germa 66 attacked. But this doesn’t mean that they are weak without Big Mom, just because Luffy was able to defeat their top fighter. I believe the Straw Hats’ strength is what makes up for the weakness of the Big Mom Pirates. Straw Hats derive their strength from caring for others, while a lack of care and love from Big Mom herself and even among the siblings was what made their otherwise strong structure full of holes which the Straw Hats capitalized on to bring the Yonko crew to its knees. In a straight up fight Straw Hats couldn’t stand a chance, but due to this lack of love from Big Mom and disregard for family made it easy for the Straw Hats to find allies within the structure and use it against them to gain the upper hand. Jinbe, Pekoms, Pudding, Praline, Chiffon and most importantly, Bege were the key to Straw Hats’ victory. Now, a similar kind of relationship can be seen in Beast Pirates. Kaido doesn’t care for his subordinates and only sees them as a tool to meet his end and so does Jack. Doflamingo knew he’d be killed if he couldn’t supply Kaido with any more smiles and X Drake’s crew was afraid just to even tell Kaido the news of Doflamingo’s defeat directly.

Such kind of system works on fear and not on loyalty, which means there might be a lot of potential allies within the Beast Pirates for the Mugiwara and a similar weakness in the structure for them to exploit. Kaido maybe immortal but definitely isn’t undefeatable. And this is where Shanks and Blackbeard’s crews come in. Even though we know that Blackbeard is one of the most evilest guy in the series, and did kill his comrade, he did that only to obtain the devil fruit. Blackbeard doesn’t run his crew on fear and treats them nicely and respectfully. His crew doesn’t seem to fear him and loyalty aroused in them is out of respect and admiration for their captain. As for shanks, we know how his crew is. It doesn’t need explaining. As far as the strength of their captains are concerned both Shanks and Blackbeard are immensely powerful on their own right, strong enough to earn the title of Yonko on just their individual strength. What I’m getting at, is that both of their strength is comparable to Kaido and Big Mom. Furthermore the strong bond with their crew only makes them that much stronger unlike Big Mom and Kaido’s crew. There won’t be any weaknesses to be exploited. So when the crew goes against either of those two, only then the real strength of a Yonko will be showcased. So what I’m saying is that the Big Mom crew is essentially defeated, and if the Kaido crew will be defeated by the Alliance, that doesn’t mean that the Straw Hats and Law alliance(probably Kid will join too) would’ve reached the pinnacle. They would still have a long way to go. Shanks and Blackbeard will still be at a platform unreachable by the Straw Hats and co.

Caesar Clown – The Buggy Of The New World

As the title suggests we will talk about Caesar Clown and Buggy the Clown and how actually Caesar’s actions and interactions reminds me of pre-timeskip Buggy.

1. To start with the obvious they both have Clown in their name

2. Both of them were living in the shadow of someone great (Gol D. Roger for Buggy and Dr. Vegapunk for Caesar)​

3. Buggy was able to capture Luffy and almost executed him because Luffy was not taking him serious and he was fooling around. The same thing happened when Luffy first fought Caesar. Caesar caught him off guard and was able to defeat Luffy.

4. Just before getting executed by Buggy, Luffy was saved by Dragon. When Luffy was tied with prism stone and Smiley was coming in Punk Hazard he was saved by Law good planning, otherwise he was dead​.

5. Buggy helped Luffy unwillingly during Impel Down because it was his only way of surviving the wrath of the guards. Caesar helped Luffy unwillingly during Dressrosa because it was his only way of survival and hoping that way to avoid the wrath of Doffy/Kaido and Big Mom. They also reluctantly formed an alliance to overthrow their shared enemy Big Mom.

6. Both Buggy and Caesar have/had armies following them under false pretense or wrong impression for them. Buggy is seen as a strong pirate who once was travelling with Roger (the prisoners from Impel Down). Caesar is seen as a savior (for all the people in Punk Hazard)​.

7. Both have very similar gag moments and reactions with Luffy, where Luffy is clearly disrespecting them with the nicknames that he is giving them.

The Revenge of Yonko Big Mom

I think that the Whole Cake Island arc has turned out to be a fascinating way for StrawHats to gauge the true barriers that stand before them. One thing that I found interesting is what the fallout will be of Big Mom’s apparent disastrous defeat (Big News Morgan’s words, not mine). I have a strong gut feeling that we will see exactly how Big Mom reacts to her loss by signaling to the world that she is officially at war with the StrawHats. She will do this in the most effective way. She will kill some of her family members who lost to Luffy. In particular, I think we will see that Big Mom will kill two characters: Katakuri and Brûlée.

These will be the two most important of Big Mom’s crew for her to kill for a few reasons:

*They are two of Big Mom’s crew that stand out as the most prominent of her children who engaged with Luffy;
*Katakuri for losing and letting Luffy go (i.e. for being weak);
*(Speculation) Based on what Katakuri asked Luffy, “Will you come back and defeat Big Mom?” This struck me as a man voicing his last wish because he foresaw that Big Mom will kill him for losing;
*Because of Luffy’s personal link with Katakuri, this will serve as a bold statement to Luffy;
*Brûlée for apparently aiding Luffy in disgracing her and ultimately escaping, for appearing weak and being used as a linchpin to the Strawhat’s invasion.


This will be done in response to Big News Morgan’s reveal of the whole incident. They could be hung, or coated in candy, or half eaten, or fall to some other unfortunate fate. We WILL see some sort of response like this from Big Mom because we have not seen how a Yonko reacts to defeat and weakness. Big Mom will show us that the Yonko are truly on a completely different scale of brutality than all other pirates. From this event though, Luffy will use their deaths to solidify his own will as to why he has to become the Pirate King, further pushing him towards his ultimate goal.

Devil Fruits Explained

I made this theory long time ago, and i guess it’s time to share it to see what you guys think. Devil Fruits are quite a mystery in One Piece and Oda said that a certain professor (probably Vegapunk) will explain the complex mechanism of all Devil Fruits soon.

So let’s analyse some of what we know about them and try to make our own conclusions:

*Only one bite is needed for the user to gain the power of the Devil Fruit.
*When a Devil Fruit user dies, their ability is reborn into another fruit (the closest).
*Object can have Devil Fruit powers through unknown method for now.
*These objects seem to gain consciousness (Soul/Spirit or whatever you want to call it).
*Why fruits in particular (and not any other object or even other food)?!

From these points i concluded that Devil Fruits don’t contain merely just powers but they also contain some kind of a soul or spirit and they are like parasites who want to inhabit a living body however they can’t do it alone and they must be allowed (consumed) and therefore:


*These souls enter the consumer’s body as soon as he takes a single bite.
*When a Devil Fruit user dies, the soul looks for the nearest fruit to inhabit.
*These souls explain why an object becomes alive when it consumes a Devil Fruit.
*These souls inhabit fruits because they are the fastest way to enter a body (Food/Eating) and fruits are different from most other food in the fact that they are eaten directly and don’t need cooking (like i said Fruits are the fastest way to enter a body).
*Some will say that these souls can jump from food to food to faster find a consumer but i think that once they merge with a fruit they can’t leave it, probably because they are weak due to being fragments of souls and not a full soul.
*This explains why Haki is the only counter to Devil Fruit powers since it is a spiritual force, so logically only a spirit power can counter another spirit.
*This also explains why a person can’t eat two devil fruits since like Jabra already hinted at when he said “Devil Fruits contain devils and if someone eats two Devil Fruits those devils will fight resulting in the user’s death” (Not exactly what he said, just the idea).



Another mystery is why can’t the same 2 Devil Fruits exist at the same time (for example 2 Gomu Gomu No Mi users at the same time) !!! If we think about it, the only explanation is that all Devil Fruits were part of a whole (Devil Fruits contain powers and fragment of souls) meaning that there was something long time ago with all powers of Devil Fruits and then his powers were divided and his soul shattered resulting in each fragment of his soul taking a certain ability and inhabiting a fruit. (This thing was most likely called Devil explaining the name “Devil Fruits”). Also recently we were introduced to Lineage Factor AKA Blueprint of Life and we know that Devil Fruits effect the user by changing his Lineage Factor so my guess is that long ago, these powers were created by experiments on Lineage Factor of some creatures and nature forces. Germa are apparently not Devil Fruit users and yet they have certain powers like Ichiji’s light energy powers and Niji electric powers. They can use their abilities also without the suit meaning that it’s possible to create Devil Fruit powers without a fruit. Like I said before these fragments of souls can also merge with any object (except living things) and this would explain Devil Fruit Awakening, because we already were introduced to Armament Haki which is the power to control spiritual powers and it can be used to harden the user’s body or another object so if a Devil Fruit user learns to control the additional fragment of soul he got from Devil Fruit and use it the same way Armament Haki works then he would be able to affect other objects and environment (just like Katakuri, Doflamingo, Diamante, Aokiji, Akainu, Crocodile and many others) this was also hinted at by Oda in Blue Deep Databook when he said that the only way to make Armament Haki more powerful is by using it with DF powers. In SBS Volume 7 this was mentioned: Reader: “Why does Sanji-san’s eyebrow curl up at the end? Is it for fashion? Make it clear!!” Oda: “Hey!! You there, sit down!! Now listen!! Everyone lives in circles!! The Sun, the Moon, and the Earth all spin in circles!! And!! If the Earth suddenly stopped spinning!! The planet would be covered in tidal waves!! It would be terrible!! Now remember that Sanji’s eyebrow channels that same powerful circular energy!! Reflect upon this!! You may go!!” We know that all Devil Fruits have swirl marks and patterns and i think based on this SBS question that it’s probably because of the energy rotation inside Devil Fruits, and if my theory proves right then it could be that Judge experimented on his kids the same way Devil Fruits were created long time ago, resulting in them having abilities and most probably it explains Sanji’s abilities (Diable Jambe and covering himself in fire .. etc), this would also explain their swirling eyebrows (Which only the kids have and not their parents!). So basically Sanji and his siblings have abilities like Devil Fruits but on a much lower level and they don’t have extra soul like Devil Fruits.

Return to Sabaody Arc

The Return to Sabaody Arc (sometimes known as Straw Hats Return or Straw Hats Reunion Arc) is the twenty-fourth story arc in the series, and the first in the Fishman Island Saga of the One Piece series, continuing on from the Post-War Arc and the Summit War Saga. Set two years after the events of the Marineford Arc, in which Luffy reunites with his crew, this arc also marks the beginning of the second part of the series. Two years have passed and Luffy retrieves his hat just as Hancock and the Kuja Pirates arrive to take him back to Sabaody Archipelago. Luffy displayed some of his strengths when he shows that he made friends with the wildlife and warns the animals not to hurt his friends. Hancock is even more infatuated with Luffy though he tells her that he is not marrying her. With that, he places the hat on his head and prepares to leave Rusukaina. The scene then changes to Sabaody Archipelago, which has become much more lawless due to Marineford having switched locations to an area in the New World and their old base now being a common Marine base called G-1 that used to be on the other side of the Red Line. Rumors of the Straw Hats suddenly reappearing and recruiting new members have circulated. It is then we go to Brook, now a superstar touring the Grand Line as "Soul King". The Longarm Tribe that captured him are now his managers. Sabaody is the final stop in Brook's tour, as well as his Farewell concert to his fans. Next, Sanji is seen arriving with some of the okama. Right after he sets foot on the island, he is overjoyed to see real women again, even crying. He gives the okama a quick goodbye (while also flipping them off) thanking them for bringing him to Sabaody and telling them to give Iva his best before he runs off to try to find Nami and Robin. Meanwhile in a bar, a woman is talking with the bartender about whats happened with Marineford. The talk is interrupted when a shot rings out, coming from a bunch of pirates who claim to be the "Straw Hat Pirates". Those pirates, however, do not even resemble the Straw Hat Pirates at all. The commotion from before was "Luffy" along with "Nami", "Franky" and "Sogeking" having shot a captain who was trying to join them when they found out he was only worth Beli55,000,000, commenting that they wanted pirates with at least Beli70,000,000. We also find out that they manage to recruit three pirate groups with 10 men that have bounties. Among such being "Wet Hair" Caribou and "Blood Splatterer" Coribou who have Beli210,000,000 and Beli190,000,000 on their heads. As "Luffy" calls for more drinks, he notices the woman from before and invites her over. She politely refuses which quickly gains the ire of the "Straw Hats". We find out that said woman is actually the real Nami, who is then reprimanded by the bartender to choose her words carefully, pointing out that it was a very bad idea to provoke the "Straw Hats". But of course, Nami knows better and only proceeded to enjoy her drink. The Fake Nami tries to threaten her but a carnivorous plant suddenly appears from out of nowhere and chomps on her as well as the Fake Luffy and the other fake Straw Hats. Nami soon finds that the culprit for this action is none other than Usopp, whom she instantly hugs upon seeing him. Nami and Usopp leave the bar as the Fake Straw Hats try to go after them, but are stopped when black bubbles suddenly appear, forming into a cloud, and shocking them. The Fake Luffy recovers and orders his group to search for and kill the two. Meanwhile over in Grove 13 and Shakky's Bar, Sanji has arrived and found out that Zoro arrived on the island first. Franky came next 10 days later and made his way to the Thousand Sunny, which has been protected by Duval and his men which Sanji thanks. Sanji also learns that Nami, Usopp, Chopper, and Brook have arrived as well. Meaning Luffy and Robin are the only two unaccounted for. Rayleigh, who is also in the bar, mentions he trained Luffy for only one and a half years before leaving him and has not seen him since. In another part of the island, Robin, who has recently arrived, finds that she's being tracked by some unknown men, as well as confused at Brook having a concert and the Straw Hats recruiting new members. In Grove 47, Tony Tony Chopper is seen following after who he thinks is Zoro and Sanji, but in reality is more of the Fake Straw Hats, this bunch comprised of the former two as well as a Robin and Chopper who are a short woman and fox respectively. Fake Zoro and Fake Sanji recognize Chopper as a real Straw Hat. Thinking he is abandoned by his crew and believing he is their "pet", they plan to lure him over to their side to make the Fake Straw Hats look more credible. The Fake Robin tries to lure Chopper over with a cucumber, but the men that were tracking Robin suddenly rush in and grab the fake one, along with the Fake Chopper, in a sack then run off, much to everyone's confusion. Meanwhile in G-1, the rumors of the Straw Hats reach the Marine's ears. The vice admiral there quickly deploys his troops to the island. Back on Sabaody, Fake Luffy has shot an innocent bystander thinking it was Nami and Usopp. When her friend protests why "Luffy"or "luffia" would do that, he is shot as well. The fake Luffy orders his crew to find the real Nami and Usopp but is suddenly knocked down by the figure from before. The said figure apologizes to him and starts to head off, but Fake Luffy calls out to him, the figure turns around to answer him and we find out it is actually the real Luffy in disguise. A flashback is then seen when Luffy was saying his goodbyes to the Kuja Pirates. Hancock makes the suggestion of Luffy wearing a hood to conceal his identity as she knows the Marines are still looking for him even after 2 years. She also gives him a over-packed sack of clothes and goodies much to Nyon's annoyance. Luffy then bids farewell to Hancock and the Kujas promising they'll meet again (though Hancock takes it as another proposal). Back in the present day, Fake Luffy is threatening Luffy with his pistol and trying to get Luffy to fear him. The rest of Fake Luffy's crew join in to intimidate Luffy with the crowd hoping he will go along with their wishes. But Luffy simply brushes them off and turns to leave. Fake Luffy goes to shoot him but Luffy manages to dodge the bullet at point blank range then uses controlled Haki on the Fake Straw Hats causing them to faint much to the crowd's astonishment. Meanwhile, Robin has reached the Thousand Sunny, finding Franky, now with a much more robotic appearance, on board. She comes aboard and finds that the ship has been coated and ready for underwater travel.

She also finds out that the rest of the Straw Hats have arrived on the island, except for Luffy. When Robin asks about Brook's concert, Franky answers that he's been touring, rising to become a superstar since they first found him in the Florian Triangle and even doubts Brook will rejoin the crew. In Grove 47, Fake Zoro and Fake Sanji, along with the real Chopper, have regrouped with the Fake Straw Hats who are recovering. They report Fake Robin's (whose real name is Cocoa) kidnapping to the Fake Luffy, with Chopper frantically trying to get the bunch to go after them. Fake Luffy however dismisses his kidnapped crewmate and orders the bunch to gather up their recruited pirates and track down the real Luffy, Nami and Usopp starting from Grove 46. Chopper runs off, unable to believe they would just abandon "Robin" and goes off to try to rescue her himself. Unknown to him and the Fake Straw Hats, some Marines have been monitoring them. They report back to Grove 66, another Marine base, about this to which the Marines begin to mobilize, ordering to usher the civilians away from the Grove that would soon become a battlefield, and mentioning that reinforcements from G-1 would also arrive later on. Among them is Sentomaru, who decides to bring along two Pacifistas and warns his troop not to underestimate the crew as they may have gotten stronger in the last two years; especially their captain, Luffy, whom he declares to be an entirely different caliber than the usual over Beli100,000,000 bounty rookies that gather at the Archipelago. Meanwhile in Grove 42, Sanji has come across a fisherman and tries to buy some fish. But the man is panicking as he had a client that wanted to go fishing. The fisherman told him to get on the boat, but instead the man got on a pirate ship by mistake which took off underwater. When Sanji hears the description of the man, he realizes who it is and tells the fisherman not to panic as the man can take care of himself. However, as he says that, a pirate ship suddenly floats back up from underwater, now cut in half. The captain of the ship scolds an individual on the mast, complaining how he ruined their dream to get to the New World. The said figure is not phased and just tells him it was their bad luck to meet him. It is then revealed that the person on the mast is none other then Zoro, who grumbles about getting on the wrong ship. Chopper gallops through Sabaody Archipelago's Grove 35, in his reindeer form, yelling wildly for Robin (the fake one that was kidnapped) while also questioning the actions of the Straw Hats (the fake ones). He abruptly stops as Usopp and Nami ride by on one of the Archipelago's bubble contraptions calling to him. Finally reunited on the island, they embrace as long-seen old friends. Both Usopp and Nami comment about how big and fluffy Chopper has become as he tries to separate fake Nami from the real one before him in his mind. Catching himself, Chopper informs them of Robin's kidnapping. Revelations abound as all three ride the bubble, Chopper is brought up to speed on what's going on such as that the kidnapped Robin is a fake (as the real one would not be easy to catch) and that the Straw Hats he met before were also fakes. Chopper, though, swoons at the idea of how famous he is motivating him to want to create a signature. Usopp comments that he's already created his own while Nami adds that they are famous in a bad way. Meanwhile, Fake Zoro and Fake Sanji chase after the real Chopper, after their Captain makes the realization that it was the real "pet", but run into Luffy (also the real one) whose identity they are still ignorant of. Upon his last run-in and Hancock's suggestion, he finally dons the fake mustache given to him and mistakes the fakes for the real ones though they question whether he was the "kid" they were looking for. In Grove 41, the real Zoro states his intention to fish at the beach. The real Sanji responds by yelling at him explaining they do not have time to search for a "wayward marimo" (should Zoro's incredible talent for getting lost remain intact) and that they, together, should head to the ship as everyone will gather there soon. Turning away from Sanji, Zoro complains to himself that #7 thinks he's so high and mighty over #1, with the numbers being a reference to the order the Straw Hats arrived on the archipelago. Sanji, now beyond annoyed by Zoro, starts a fight. In Grove 46, a Marine is spying on the new rookies trying to join the "Straw Hats". He confirms four of them: Gashed Albion at a bounty of Beli92,000,000, Lip Service Doughty at a bounty of Beli88,000,000 and the brothers Caribou, Wet-hair and Blood Splattered, at bounties of Beli210,000,000 and Beli190,000,000, respectively. As the Marine is speaking on the den-den mushi, he further adds how unthinkable it would be for the future if this company of people were to be united as one crew with "Straw Hat Luffy's" as their Captain, when Wet-hair Caribou suddenly looms over from behind the fractured wall that the Marine was leaning against. The Marine falls back on the ground in horror as the Caribou Brothers intimidate him, prompting his superiors to bring in back up upon realizing that their mole had been spotted at the other end of the Den Den Mushi line. Frightened, the Marine reaches for his gun causing Wet-hair to stab him with a spear. Further increasing the severity of their action, Blood-splattered starts digging a grave as his older brother preaches to God on the "sins" this Marine has committed. Tensions rise as a confrontational statement is heard "That's as far as you go, Caribou"! Voices roar as the rotund fake Luffy amplifies his followers spirits, who all believe that following him will lead their pirating careers to greater heights, having achieve such notoriety in the past for instigating massive damage upon the three prominent facilities of the World Government (Enies Lobby, Impel Down, and Marineford). Some of them even root for him as a worthy candidate for the next Pirate King, and being part of his crew meant some shared glory in the future. He appropriates them as extensions of himself, his "hands" and "legs". His orders are to find and crush the real Straw Hats that humiliated him. During his rant, Fake Zoro and Fake Sanji return with the real Luffy. Luffy speaks to the fakes assuming them to be the real ones yet noticing that they are more friendly than he remembers. The fakes call for their captain's attention, and the target, Luffy, stands before his eyes. "Encore! Encore!" the crowd yells at Brook's farewell concert. Unfortunately, the Marines and his former managers have flanked him. The Marines confirm him as "Humming Brook" with a Beli33,000,000 bounty and a member of the Straw Hat crew. Brook's fans become distressed at the news, while others were silently musing that Brook should be granted leniency, even if he truly was a member of the Straw Hats, since that crew of Pirates were long thought to be dead and gone. His managers explained that by honestly telling them that Brook would be retiring, it would be the end of the business exploit hence inciting them to have Brook die with them. In fact, this incites Brook to call on his band and dancers in helping him declare that the rumors were false. "Straw Hat Luffy...Dead? Ridiculous--Tell This to the World. The Pirate Straw Hat Luffy is ALIVE!". The Marines are held by the fans as Brook rocks the concert ready to go to the New World. Back on the Thousand Sunny, newly refurbished, Nami, Usopp and Chopper meet up with the rest of the crew. Usopp holds Chopper as he gawks at the new upgrades on Franky who now sports concealable hands within his giant ones and a hair-frizz feature. Nami is overjoyed to see the real Robin again and, to a shyer extent, the real Franky. Rayleigh and Shakky show up. Shakky updates the current crew on deck where the others are and the situations on the archipelago. Rayleigh heads to Nami intent on teaching her how to navigate a coated ship. Usopp, worried since Luffy has not shown up, asks about him. Rayleigh replies with a smile on his face that Luffy has already disembarked.
