When is the release date for Counter-Strike 2?

New details have emerged from recent leaks concerning CS2 Premier Mode. The anticipation for the next installment in Valve's immensely popular first-person shooter series is reaching unprecedented levels. Counter-Strike 2 was officially announced just a few weeks ago on March 22nd, but fans are still eagerly awaiting the full release. Currently, only a limited test is available, and when they say "limited," they mean it. The new iteration brings a plethora of changes, with the standout feature being a brand-new engine utilizing Source 2 technology. But the burning question remains: When will Counter-Strike 2 be released? As of now, the only timeframe provided on the official page is "this summer."

Counter Strike 2

It's widely assumed that the limited test will eventually transition into a closed beta, and possibly even an open beta. This suggests that while the full game won't launch until summer, most fans will have the opportunity to try it out in advance, if all goes as planned. Valve has confirmed that this highly anticipated release will come at no cost to players. "Counter-Strike 2 arrives this summer as a free upgrade to CS:GO. So build your loadout, sharpen your skills, and get ready for what's next!" states the official page. Counter-Strike retains the beloved core mechanics of first-person shooters while introducing new elements such as smoke grenades, sub-tick servers, updated graphics, maps, and more. The exact release date, whether it be early or late summer, remains unknown for now. Fans should anticipate that as the season draws nearer, Valve will provide a more precise launch date. The latest update is based on speculation stemming from recent leaks regarding the start date of the new CS2 Premier Mode season. It's important to note that this information has not been officially confirmed. However, if these leaks hold any truth, it could mean that CS2 might make its debut by late September 2023. This projection is based on the 2023 Fall season start date of September 23, as indicated by the most recent leaks. Until then, those with access can enjoy watching, while the rest can only hope for the chance to join in and test the game themselves.

God of War: Ragnarok Updates

Jaffe made the comments on Twitter, saying that someone within Sony has informed him that the God of War sequel’s release date was “no longer locked in.” This follows a previous report that Sony was still aiming for a 2022 release date for the game. Member thst Sony insider pal who said GOW:R 2022 was still on? Well ANOTHER Sony insider pal texted me today saying it’s no longer locked in and the release is tbd. Maybe 2022; maybe not.

Ragnarok was surprisingly absent from last week’s Summer Game Fest 2022 event, leading to further speculation that its release date has been pushed back. Despite major upcoming Sony releases such as The Last of Us Part 1 being showcased during the show, Santa Monica Studio’s sequel was nowhere to be seen. However, some information has slipped through suggesting we’ll see more from the game sooner rather than later. For one, it received an official rating in Korea, which typically means that a release date announcement is imminent. Secondly, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier reported that while its launch date may slip, it is currently still penciled in for November 2022. Still, Jaffe could well know something that others don’t. As the creator of the God of War franchise, he potentially has additional information from within Sony pertaining to the sequel’s release date, even though he isn’t involved with its development. Fans have speculated that Sony may have withheld Ragnarok from Summer Game Fest in order to make it the focus of the company’s own State of Play event. However, Sony has yet to reveal when its next presentation will be, so for the time being we’ll just have to wait and see.

Elden Ring: Bloodflame Blade Location

There are many important incantations in Elden Ring, and the Bloodflame Blade ability is certainly no exception.

Elden Ring brings all the classic FromSoftware gameplay that players have come to love to an incredibly unique and special world. Within The Lands Between, there are so many things for players to do, fight, and discover. In fact, finding new items is one of the most important aspects of Elden Ring's gameplay. With that in mind, it can be extraordinarily helpful for gamers to know where to acquire certain items, like the Bloodflame Blade incantation.

With so many regions in Elden Ring, knowing where to look for certain items can be tricky (and sometimes dangerous), especially for new players. That's why gamers should make sure to do their research when it comes to acquiring powerful gear in-game.

Bloodflame Blade Location in Elden Ring

The Bloodflame Blade incantation is relatively easy to find. First, players need to make their way to Liurnia of the Lakes, just to the left of the academy.

There, south of one of Elden Ring's nearby Sites of Grace but north of Rose Church, players will be able to find a Teardrop Scarab. The scarab will be in the vicinity of other enemies, so it's best to be careful when approaching. Killing and looting the scarab will award players with the Bloodflame Blade.

The Bloodflame Blade is an incantation that will dramatically increase weapon abilities by providing fire damage. The incantation lasts for one minute and will take gamers ten seconds to cast.

The ability will provide enemies with a debuff, while also setting some opponents on fire. When paired with the right set of armor in Elden Ring, the Bloodflame Blade can become a deadly and effective tool for players.

It is worth noting, however, that the Bloodflame Blade cannot be used with swords or other weapons that have their own elemental infusions.

The Bloodflame Blade, aside from being powerful, is also representative of the imaginative combat gameplay within Elden Ring. Though players begin with Elden Ring's weak starting weapons, they quickly enter a vast open landscape filled with some of the most creative and powerful items ever accumulated in a game world.

Though Elden Ring isn't perfect, like many other video games, it has received well-deserved praise from players and FromSoftware fans for its unique world-building and intriguing story. And, though the Bloodflame Blade will not guarantee players the ability to defeat the title's most dangerous bosses, it is certain to help gamers on their journey through The Lands Between.

Elden Ring Player Dies in Ridiculous Way to Glitched Enemy

A particularly memorable Elden Ring enemy glitches out during a transformation, though they still manage to kill an unlucky player. Though the bosses in Elden Ring are undoubtedly the most memorable fights in the game, some of the regular enemies within the Lands Between can stand out due to their placements in the world. For example, some Elden Ring enemies transform into larger foes and attack the player, though recently one of these transformations bugged out in a funny way.

There are a handful of transforming enemies that can be found within Elden Ring’s world, going from basic mobs to far stronger enemies. Alongside the Runebear and Grafted Scion transformations, gamers can find a Lion Guardian outside of Leyndell. If players enter some ruins, they will stumble upon a basic foe cowering in the corner. If they cut them down, the enemy will turn into a massive Lion Guardian, one of the strongest regular enemies within the Lands Between.

This is exactly what goes down in a clip from Reddit user and Elden Ring player Penchkeg, with the player being fully aware of the jumpscare that happens when the cowering enemy is killed. After drinking some flasks to prepare for the upcoming fight, the Redditor backstabs the enemy, instantly killing them. While they do still turn into a Lion Guardian, they do not land on the ground like they are supposed to do, instead getting stuck in the corner and falling endlessly.

Alongside a funny noise as the enemy continuously bumps into the wall, the clip stands out due to the confusion being displayed by Penchkeg. While they have seemingly fought the enemy before, they likely did not expect to see it bug out like this. Though they could have moved on or tried slashing it from the front to get a free kill, they instead walked around the stuck Lion Guardian, getting a good view of the trapped enemy to make for a better clip. However, their decision to walk behind it proved fatal, as Penchkeg learned that even a buggy Elden Ring enemy can be dangerous.

Dubbed one of the “dumbest ways to die” in FromSoftware games by the Redditor, the clip sees them being kicked to death by the falling Lion Guardian. Much like the enemy, Penchkeg is completely trapped, unable to move as their health bar is quickly lowered. It seems like the game is treating each drop from the boss as if it were landing on top of the Tarnished, with the quick falls quickly killing off the curious player.

With FromSoftware’s latest game being as massive as it is, it is not surprising that there have been several Elden Ring glitches found since release. While this footage was funny to the 16,000 players that upvotes it, Penchkeg was likely a lot less happy to be felled by this buggy Lion Guardian.
